Secure Eraser is intended to protect your privacy by deleting data and traces of your activity. The application has an intuitive interface, which can be easily navigated from the Start Screen or using the available breadcrumbs.
The program can wipe data from many different computer areas. It can delete individual files as well as complete folders. Moreover, you can use it to wipe free space as it even clears the master file table (MFT). In addition, it can scan your Registry and eliminate obsolete entries. Fortunately, it can also delete a whole partition, a feature that must be used carefully. You can also use it to eliminate system temporary files and in relation to navigation traces, it can clean Internet temp files left behind by Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, it does not seem to support other popular browsers.
In general, Secure Eraser is an effective way to preserve your privacy as it supports multiple deletion methods, including renowned ones as the German standard and Peter Gutmann’s method. It can also keep an activity journal and create deletion reports. However, these reports cannot be exported or printed in any way.

I tried software that granted administrative rights, software that unlocks files, ran CCleaner, Defragged, ran Microsoft Fix Its, ran SFC /ScanNow, tried rebooting, other invalid file deletion software wouldn't touch it because they don't delete folders, but Secure Eraser got rid of it.
